Tristan is a Percheron horse and worked as an adaptive riding horse for kids with disabilities for over ten years through the program TROTR in Woodland, CA.

He was originally obtained from an auction when he was 2-3 years old in approximately 2005.  After that he was used used for search and rescue and riding lessons.

​

I adopted Tristan from TROTR in ~ 2018 as he had a number of health issues that needed more attention. 

​

Tristan is semi-retired from lessons and is used as a backup for larger students. 

​

He is still ridden regularly and enjoys his days grazing, visiting with the other animals and eating treats.
